LUCKY DUCK™

There are many types of Lucky Duck™ spinning wing decoys. The good news is almost all of them have the same connection from the motor to the wing.

Our Animator fits the Lucky Duck™ HD & HDI, the waterproof HD & HDI, the Lucky Duck™ Junior, all Lucky Duck™ smaller species including the teal, dove and others.

  • The motor shaft looks like a black thimble. The motor has the 'female' end of the connection. This opening is roughly 0.5 inches.

  • The wing shaft fits INTO the black thimble connection on the motor. The wing connection has a small silver magnet on the tip of the 'male' connection. This connection is also roughly 0.5 inches.

  • This 'black thimble' connection is the most common of the lucky duck connections. This covers around 95% of all lucky duck decoys.

  • There is one decoy made by Lucky Duck™ that is completely different, and will not work for this Animator. The connection is a 0.75 inch silver magnet on the motor shaft and a 0.75 inch black 'thimble' connection on the WING. This connection is exactly opposite of the previously mentioned connection and covers only 5% of all lucky duck decoys. Our Animator will not work on this connection.

    • Using AA batteries with an Animator attached requires a fully charged set of batteries. We recommend the rechargeable lithium AA batteries available on Amazon or at any large retailer. Beginning your hunt with a full charge will ensure the decoy is running at its full potential.


    MOJO™

    Mojo™, there are so many versions of the Mojo™ spinning-wing decoy. Each version will have a specific Animator. There are five Mojo™ Animators- the MM, KM, BB, MS and ME Animators. So, let's break it down.

    1) Mojo™ Elite Series - There are three Elite Series versions. (KM, ME, and MS)

  • (KM) ELITE SERIES KING MALLARD - This decoy uses the Animators for Mojo™ King Mallard Decoys. This series is currently available in only a drake mallard. This decoy has a large lithium battery that enters through the belly. The drake King Mallard has a shiny green head and a round decoy rod. This motor connection is 0.5 inches wide. This decoy uses the Animator for Mojo™ King Mallard.

  • (ME) ELITE SERIES STANDARD - These decoys use the Animators for Mojo™ Elite Series Decoys. This series is the most popular. All of these decoys use four AA batteries that enter through a small battery pack in the belly. These decoys are covered by the Elite Series standard: Pintail, Redhead, Bluebill, Gadwall and Woody. All of these decoys use the Animators for Mojo™ Elite Series. Using AA batteries with an Animator attached requires a fully charged set of batteries.   • (MS) ELITE SERIES MID-SIZED - These decoys use the Animators for Mojo™ Mid-Sized Decoys. This series has only two models, the Bluewing and Green-Winged Teal. The newer models, the elite series bluewing and Green-winged teal, has a much shorter wing connection around 0.5 inch in length. The elite series teal also has beautifully detailed body paint and detailed wings; This Elite Series Teal will use the Animator for Mojo™ Mid-Sized Decoys. Using AA batteries with an Animator attached requires a fully charged set of batteries.     • It is IMPORTANT to note that Mojo™ has two Green-Winged Teal. One is much older, has flat green wings with one-inch long wing connections. The Animator for Mojo™ Mid-Sized Decoys will not fit the older version teal. Look below for details on the BB Animator. The Animators for Mojo™ Baby will fit onto the older version of the Mojo™ Teal.

    2) Mojo™ Mini - These decoys will also use the Animators for Mojo™ Elite Series (ME).

    There are three main mini-version decoys. The hen and drake mini-mallards. These normally come in a two pack, but they can be sold separately also. These decoys have four AA batteries in a small battery pack that enters in the belly. Another decoy in the mini-series is the Spoonzilla™. This decoy also has a four AA battery pack that enters in the belly. All three of these decoys will use the Animators for Mojo™ Elite Series Decoys. Using AA batteries with an Animator attached requires a fully charged set of batteries.     3) Mojo™ Baby - These decoys will use the Animators for Mojo™ Baby (BB)

    • This is probably the most popular spinning-wing decoy in existence. The Baby Mojo is a very simple decoy. Beige in color and comes in hen and drake mallard versions. There is a hatch on the back that lifts upwards to insert the large 6-volt battery pack. This Baby Mojo™ Animator (BB) is also designed to retrofit onto the older version teal. This older version teal has plain green wings and a wing connection that is one inch in length. Both of these decoys will use the Animators for Baby Mojo™.

    4) Mojo™ Mallard - Aluminum Series The newest version of the Mojo™ spinning-wing decoys.

    • The heavy aluminum wings demand the newest version of the Animator for Mojo™ Decoys; THE MOJO MALLARD (MM) Animator. This decoy was released in 2023 and should not be confused with the original Mojo™ decoy that uses set screws to hold the wings in place. This decoy will use the Animators for Mojo™ Aluminum Decoys.


    AVIAN X™

    The Avian X™ Powerflight mallard is compatible with the Animator. This decoy will use the Animators for Avian X™ Decoys. Currently, the Avian X Teal is not compatible with the Animator.


    DECOY DANCER
